L-B Designs
was started a few years ago when my husband Brad told me he
wanted a website for his M Diamond Angus bull sale. We looked for a web designer but it was hard to find someone nearby who had a ranch and livestock background and who could relate to the bull business. It was even harder to find someone affordable. After a few months of searching, Brad told me I should
just do it
. . . so back to college I went. After a few courses in design, web design and animated graphics, I felt comfortable enough to design his website. It has been a passion ever since and I love the fact that I get to use my creative and artistic talents almost daily.

My ranching back ground started at an early age, but it wasn't until I was 14 when we moved back to Wyoming, that I could say I "grew up" on a ranch. My Grandparents were a huge influence in my life and throughout junior high and high school I spent any free time I had at their ranch. I loved feeding cows and sheep with my Grandpa, putting up hay and riding horses every chance I got. Both of them taught me how to work, to work hard and if you take care of your land and your livestock they will take care of you.

After college, and a degree in food science I was fortunate to get a job with the Wyoming Department of Agriculture. I was very driven and focused on my career and a lot of great opportunities fell my way. There were several great leaders in the department who took me under their wing. I learned more about agriculture than I ever thought possible. I will be forever grateful for all of the experiences I was afforded during my 15 years there.

When you're young and dream of what your future might look like remember hard work, fate and a little luck might just help your dreams come true . . . in 2002, I met Brad at a Wyoming Stock Growers function. It's quite a story, and both of us believe fate and devine intervention brought us together. Two years later we were married. While it's true I had a great career in Agriculture, I was ready to go back to actually living on a ranch and embracing the lifestyle again. Wanting to be an artist / designer the first college I went to was the Colorado Institute of Art. . . now all these years later I am living the country life and dabbling in a design business. I can truly say in the last thirty years my life has come full circle.
I believe through my related experiences I bring a quality to my designs that many western enthusiasts are looking for. If you would like to visit or have any questions, I'd love to hear from you. Drop me a line at lboner212@gmail.com.
